Version of 14 July 2026
By playing UCM, you accept the terms below. Please take the time to read them, they are written to be clear.
1. Acceptance of the terms
By creating an account and using Ultimate Cycling Manager (“UCM”, the “game”), you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms of Use. Registering counts as acceptance. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use the game.
2. The game
UCM is an online cycling management game, playable directly in your browser with no download required. You manage a fictional cycling team: you recruit and train riders, choose your tactics and compete in simulated races. The game is currently in beta: it evolves regularly and new features are added over time.
3. Your account
To play, you create an account with an email address and a password, and you agree to provide accurate information. Only one account per person is allowed: multiple accounts are prohibited, as they distort the game. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account; let us know at contact@ucmgame.com if you believe it has been compromised. You must be at least 15 years old to create an account.
4. Behaving properly
You agree to play fairly: no cheating, no exploiting bugs to your advantage, no bots, automated scripts or data scraping. In team-to-team messaging and the global chat, stay respectful: harassment, insults, hateful, discriminatory or illegal remarks, spam and any unlawful content are prohibited. Any breach may result in a warning, a suspension or the closure of your account.
5. A free game
UCM is 100% free: you can play the entire game without ever paying anything, and there is no mandatory purchase. The game is “no pay-to-win”: no payment grants a competitive advantage over other players. If paid options are ever offered (for example convenience or customization), they will remain purely optional and will never grant a gameplay advantage.
6. Intellectual property
The game, its name, its code, its graphics, its cards, its fictional riders and races and all of its content belong to UCM and are protected. You may not copy, resell or reuse them without our written consent. Content you create yourself (team name, messages) remains your responsibility: it must be lawful and respectful, and you grant us permission to display it within the game for it to function properly.
7. Personal data and privacy (GDPR)
We collect your email address and your game data (team, riders, results, messages) solely to let you play, manage your account and run the game; the legal basis is the performance of the service you request by registering. In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data: deleting your account anonymizes your personal data (your team is kept as a “ghost team” to preserve history and the fairness of the rankings). We keep your data for as long as your account is active and never resell your data to third parties. To exercise your rights, write to us at contact@ucmgame.com.
8. Cookies
UCM uses cookies essential to the game’s operation, in particular to keep you logged in and secure your session; these are necessary and do not require your consent. If we ever use non-essential cookies (for example analytics), we will ask for your consent beforehand and you will be able to refuse. You can also manage cookies from your browser settings.
9. A game in beta
UCM is under active development (beta): features may change, appear or disappear, and the service may experience bugs or interruptions. During the beta, game data may be reset (resetting rankings, history or, more rarely, an entire season). The game is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability or freedom from errors; we do our best, but you play with full awareness of this.
10. Limitation of liability
UCM is a free, fictional entertainment game: to the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for game data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages related to your use of the game. We are also not responsible for content posted by other players (messages, chat), although we may step in in the event of reported abuse. Nothing in these terms limits our liability in cases where French law prohibits it.
11. Suspension, termination and account deletion
In the event of a breach of these terms (cheating, multiple accounts, unlawful remarks, etc.), we may suspend or close your account, where possible after a warning, except in cases of serious misconduct. On your side, you can leave the game at any time and delete your account directly from the settings: your personal data is then anonymized, as described in the “Personal data” section. Deletion is permanent and gives no right to any compensation, as the game is free.
12. Changes to the terms
As the game evolves, these terms may be updated. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you (for example by email or by an in-game message). If you keep playing after the new terms take effect, this counts as acceptance; otherwise, you can delete your account.
13. Governing law and contact
UCM is operated from France; these terms are governed by French law and, failing an amicable solution, any dispute will fall under the competent courts as provided for by law. For any question, complaint or request regarding your data, you can contact us at contact@ucmgame.com or via the website https://ucmgame.com. We will do our best to reply to you quickly.
